Transport Card
Transport card is a summary document necessary to identify the legal entity relative to the transport chain. This document, introduced from the 19th July 2009, should be filled in by the sender (or in alternative by the loader of the goods) and kept on board of the vehicle by the carrier. The legislative decree 286/2005 has introduced this obligatory document, which all the transports entrusted to third parties should have. Only the transports made on their own account can be excluded from this document.

CMR Convention des Marchandises par Route
The waybill is issued by the sender or frequently by the shipper, acting as the orderer of the transport, on request of the carrier. The truck waybill form should be filed in all the proper parts, when the goods are loaded from the sender or from the shipper (every party fills in the proper field).

First CMR copy should be returned to the sender.

Second CMR copy, for the consignee, accompanies the goods till the destination

Third CMR copy, for the carrier, should be regularly signed upon goods receipt.
